Camping near the Shawnee National Forest

I am looking for a campground near the Shawnee National Forest so I can visit the Garden of the Gods. Not interested in staying in the forest as the campgrounds don't have electric and power that I can find.

Thanks for your help

We stayed at Lake Glendale National Forest campground a few years back and they had lovely 30 amp sites. Very pretty spot and great location for Garden of the Gods. Here's my review of the place:

Cave in Rock State Park has electric campsites. DNR Half hour drive to Garden of the Gods.
