We're going to be visiting the Tobin James Winery with a group of friends (all staying at hotels) near Paso Robles next March. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a nice Resort or CG in that area.

Wine Country RV is a great park right down the street from Tobin James. I believe it is the closest.

It is a little costly, but a great park. I think I got a Premium site last time, but should have gone with a normal site. The gravel and grass sites are great.

Tobin James is probably my favorite winery in California. We use to live in the Bay Area, so we would go to Napa (least favorite), Livermore, Gilroy, and Paso Robles. Out of all of them, Tobin James is probably the most fun, and love their wine!!

Have a great time - that is a great area with lots of cool things to do.

If you are going to be close to the Bay Area and need a place, let me know - I have some discount cards for Coyote Valley RV just south of San Jose. Nice place to stay.

Good Morning M-C!
I have had the luxury of getting a late start on my morning...but I will check to see if we have been at a campground in that area after I shower and pour another cup of coffee...It also seems like there is a TT or C2C in that area. Are you a member of either one? (Or is anyone in the group also camping and are members?)

Will post back later today...

Argh!! Ok, it looks like I waited too long to book. Apparently there's a wine festival going on that same weekend and not only is every hotel booked, but Wine Country RV is also completely booked. Anyone know of another close by RV resort or CG??

Here is a link to the RV Park Reviews page for Paso. Wine Country is the only place I have stayed while there.

You can always stay down in SLO or Pismo as well. Not too far from Paso Robles.

BTW - if you will be heading up to the San Jose area, I have some discount tickets to Coyote Valley RV Resort I can send you. Let me know.
