Very nice. Some sites right on the beach. A bit pricey, but a great park for kids. Make your reservations early. It fills up quickly.

I agree, fun place for kids n family.
Spaces are very close together. No way to avoid the sand in the rig. Friendly staff n nice pool. Beach sites are premium but have no sewer. Pump truck comes around every am for a fee. Very convenient for shopping, restaurants, and all there is to do at San Destin.
We stay there one week a year for a ... er... Conference. Ya that's right

We looked at that place, ended up at Henderson State Beach. Had power and water( dump station in the park)
VERY nice park! Sites are roomy and neighbors are not right on top of you, check it out on line, make reservations early though
It was about $25.00 a night, beats the $90+ at the other place

We like Topsail. It is much cleaner. The spaces are larger, nicer and somewhat private. There is a tram to the beach every 30 minutes. They have a nice pool with other activities. We have never been impressed with Camping on the Gulf.

I haven't and won't stay at Camping on the Gulf. We've been through it and the only thing that impressed us was the prices. I have and do stay at both Henderson Beach and Topsail. Henderson Beach's location in the middle of Destin is just great. However, Topsail's full hook-ups including sewer and cable trump Henderson Beach's dump station. Both are beautiful parks. If you're heart is set on Camping on the Gulf, go - it's workable, just not our style.
