Camping West Side Chicago

Does anyone have any ideas of where there is a RV park on the west side of Chicago? We want to spend the summer around Bartlett/Elgin, IL but am finding there is basically only one park close, Burnnidge & Paul Wolff Forest Preserve, which does not take reservations and has a monthly limit.

Chicago/Northwest KOA would be the closest full service campground to Elgin. It is right along I-90 and would be very convenient for you. I-90 is under construction in that area but won't be too bad in non-rush hour driving. Not a lot of campgrounds in the area. The KOA is the better choice.

Thanks for the advice we will check it out. We were amazed at the lack of sites and reservation ability. Most of the ones we have found have been very primitive. Need to be in that area from July thru September should have checked out the sites before we committed
