Camping with a 45' MH

Anyone know where I can find a list of RV parking areas that will accommodate a 45' coach. Currently looking in the North west (Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Nevada). Although any and all sites would be appreciated as we are intending on taking 1 to 3 month trips. Waited to long for the NE fall trip to make reservations and the 45' size seems to be a real issue - any suggestions?

You might like this: https://www.big-rigs-rv.com/Home.html

We had no problem finding sites for our 40' MH in national and state parks but you made a big jump with 45' that will limit you somewhat but places are out there.

Hi 46490,
Consider the Good Sam Directory. All the big rig resorts are listed in the directory. Camping World sells the directory.

Look at the Mobil app. Called: Campendium

Gives you a good look at all camping locations in the area you put in. Very easy to look at map view. Best camping app. I found.

Enjoy the journey

Do you mean campgrounds or literally parking areas? If CGs do you want private or National/State/County parks?

For any type of CG you can use RV Trip Wizard and set filters to "big rigs". I also set my filters to "full hookups", "50 amp" and "4 stars". RV Trip Wizard links directly to the information in Campground Reviews so determining if a CG is big rig friendly is pretty easy. For any CG I'm interested in I always go to their website to confirm I fit before making a reservation.

Contrary to some popular opinion it's not difficult to find private CGs that a 45' MH fits in, but reservations are a good idea. Big rig spaces in non-private CGs are limited and often don't allow reservations.
