This is what is directly across from us on the other side of the inlet. Just a foot path at the low water level.

Easy there now. Don't rush into that weekend thing. Friday is almost over.
Looks like a great place and not far from us that it could be worth a southern ride to relax in the coming weeks. Just have to get through 'March Madness' first.

It's an easy ride from Chatanooga. Just hit Birmingham and then it's 280/431 all the way in. If you do take a trip here, enter the park from south/west. Coming in the entrance from the north/east is a tight 90* with a good hump in it.

The lake is like glass tonight....

Well, that's a no go. Only time they do seasonal sites is Nov 1 - Feb 28. Otherwise, all the waterfront sites are 2 weeks max. Damn it.

You can keep that mess. I left the northeast about 13 years ago and you couldn't pay me enough to deal with those winters again.

Summers here suck, but I'll take those over the winters up there any day.
