Howdy,
Can't say I have ever been where you're going, but........
Get out and enjoy, you got the kids, and the adventure awaits. Worst trip we were ever on was great.
So, see where the road takes ya, and enjoy life to the fullest.
Luck,
Bob

We stayed there a couple of years ago and enjoyed it very much. Good bike trail (paved) and the park itself is quite large. Lots of stuff for the kids on the grounds and around the area. Downtown Lake George is not what it used to be as far as entertainment goes. Things were a little dated when we looked around. The boat rides on the lake are very nice. Enjoy.

Bob, there is an old saying which I will slightly modify here.

The original is "A bad day ____ beats a good day at work"

A bad day RVing... Beats a good day just doing just about anything else.

That said, there are a few GREAT days that do beat RVing,, Wedding, Birth of first child/grandchild/great grandchild.. But those are few and far between.

Darling daughter's graduation, 3 of'em so far (one daughter, High school, College (Batchlor) and College (Master) do not know if she is going fo for PhD. But Grandchild due soon.)

I have been at the Lake George RV Park many times. It is well run, clean and it has a lot to do for kids and adults. I love that all the roads are paved so there is no "cloud of dust when a vehicles drives by. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are a lot of things to do in the area. Ridge Terrace restaurant is delicious (reservations suggested). Martha's Ice Cream is some of the best I've ever tasted. You will have a great time there.
