Canton,Texas flea market

Hello,
We are planning to go to the Canton flea market this weekend in our class A motorhome. We will not have a toad, so I am looking for suggestions on rv parks, and how to get from the park to the market. Or is there rv parking there that is easy enough to maneuver a 36ft MH? This will be our first trip to Cantin.

You will have issues. You will need to get to the parking lot early. It's a very busy place. And if you don't have reservation four months ago. Good luck. I am on a waiting list for end of October for rv park.

Yes,there is a park on the north side of the market. It has plenty of spaces. We parked about 200 yards from the ticket office and entrance. We had a great time last year.

Howdy!

The best RV park in Canton is Mill Creek RV Resort. I would contact them, they also offer a free schedule to the different markets.

Sorry it took this long to answer you but I could not remember the name.We were there 8-15 -14.We did not have reservations. We never do .I think we stayed at Canton Rv Park 903 567 5445.I think it is run by the city.$35.00 a night for 5o amp. There were at least 20 empty spots.
If they were full they have acres of parking with no hookup's.We stayed 4 nights and shopped for 3 days.On the Tuesday everyone was gone and all the streets were open and we drove around the complete market.Found out we had not seen 1/2 the place,it is big even by Texas standards.
Sorry for being late with this info.

Thanks Doyle and Peggy. I think that's the place we are staying, don't have the print out right now. My wife called and they said they have plenty of spots, that it's not as busy this time of year. Heading out in a few minutes, staying the night and getting up early when it's cool to shop.

Happy trails,
Charlie

A number of the outlying campgrounds run shuttles to the flea market. Call and ask.

That is one place I stay away from at all times.
