Carlsbad caverns CG
We will be in Carlsbad caverns area Sept.19th-23rd.could anybody recommend a CG to stay for that time.Tks for your Help.

We've stayed at Brantly Lake State Park.

we stayed at the Carlsbad KOA and the staff was great. Also you can order dinner delivered to you camper at night.

Just left Brantley Lake It is a nice campground. 4 sites have full hook up the other 23 water and electricity only. Can't beat the price. 18 & 12 dollars a night respectively

We have stayed at the KOA and it was fine. However, it is, I recall, a ~40 minute trip to the Caverns from the CG. We didn't find that to be a problem, but some might.

We stayed at Guadalupe Mtns. National Park maybe 20 miles or so south. However, it is a small campground, dry camping, and first come/first serve. We liked it and did some nice hikes in this park.
