G'morning All:

Just gotta tell ya about a gem of a little campground on E. side of I-25 right on the Colorado/New Mexico border atop Raton Pass at Exit 460.

Cedar Rail Campground & RV Park is a WONDERFUL surprise with BEAUTIFUL vistas, FULL hook ups including 50 amp and an exceptional park for a nights stopover....although you'll consider staying an extra night or two if ya have the time.

As we travel in a 45 ftr. towing, we're always a little careful about where we pick to stop for a night. When we first saw it after exiting on Exit 460, I was a little concerned, BUT...there was absolutely NO difficulty gettin in, registering, and parking in the REAL pull through.

Give it try....you'll like it.

Steve & Lynette

chickadee, the dw and i went to colorado in96 and got delayed by a breakdown. this caused us to arrive at raton pass later than usual, about 5pm. we picked the raton pass campground and were happy about it. the only thing dw didn't like was the signs that said "please place garbage in containers in bathouse due to bears".

I did a check of RV Park Reviews It seems like not everyone was so enthralled with the park.
