We're looking for a place to put the 5th wheel Sept. 25-28 in or near Cedar Rapids, IA. We'll be there for a baseball tourney. We realize some facilities close after Labor Day, so your help is appreciated. Thanks.

G'ma

There is camping at Hawkeye Downs right in CR and the Amana Colonies . I have stayed in both and there are some on Lake MacBride. PM JanieD I think she leaves in CR.

We stayed at Palisades-Kepler State Park 2 summers ago and really enjoyed the park. It is just outside of Cedar Rapids. It was quiet and clean with deer and other wildlife around. Enjoy!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we stayed at the Savage Creek County Park near Marion, Ia during our recent visit to Cedar Rapids. The park was clean, well-kept and very pleasant. Quite a few drive-thru sites were available, all sites with fire pits. The cost was $19 per night with water and electric. We exited I-380 at Exit 27 and went East on IA 100 for approx. 5 miles to the park. We wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
