Central PA to Maine

I am traveling to Houlton, ME in July to meet up with a 59 day caravan to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I need some campground suggestions for the trip up to Houlton, Maine. I am in a 42' MH towing a car, so pull thru sites and 50A are preferred. I can travel up to 6 hours a day but prefer more like 4-5. That puts me around the Rt. 84, NY/CT border the first night and the Rt. 95, NH/ME border the second night. I don't need the amenities, just a place to sleep. Driving four hours per day gives me plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. The entire trip looks like 12 hours, so 3 days of driving makes sense. Looking forward to the trip and going into Canada. Thanks.

Homestead by the River is in Biddeford, Maine. Stayed there for an overnight last September during the week, and it was very quiet. Nice owners. Had lots of room and nice to walk around and see different animals. Not sure if there are pull thru sites. Further up in Scarborough, Maine is Wild Duck Adult Campground. Was there last week. Very scenic as we backed up to a large salt marsh with lots of birds. Pull thru sites are tight but will certainly do for an overnight. Kennebunkport has campgrounds I have never stayed at. George Bush home is there if that interest you. Enjoy your Canadian trip!

We've stayed at Black Bear Campground in Florida, NY (https://blackbearcampground.com/). It's about 11 miles south of I-84 and about 60 miles from the NY/CT border (on the NY side). They've got pull through spots large enough to accommodate you without unhooking and 50 amp service.

Take care,
