Central to South Florida RV resorts
We are beginning our search for a nice RV resort for January to April in Central to South Florida. We have a 40' MH with a towed vehicle. We were spoiled last year at Wilderness RV in Silver Springs with its wide, paved sites, plus a section just for Class A MH. We are looking to go a little further south this winter, and would like to find a similar resort that has concrete sites, and lots of activities such as dancing, water aerobics, etc.
Any recommendations?

We are both running up against the waiting list game time. I've contacted several RV resorts recommended by other irv2.com members, they all put me on their waiting list,as they are fully-booked now.
I have found some high-end RV resorts near Ft. Myers that have vacancies, but I'm not ready to pay $1,500/month or more, and have to stay for the 3 month minimum.
I visited the allstays.com website and just began making phone calls or sending emails to places with good recommendations.
I sure can't blame RV resort owners for charging these prices, considering land values in S. FL today.

Aztec in Margate is a favorite of ours.
Beautiful sites paved with paver stones not concrete. They send someone to wet them down as you park to prevent tires from marking them up.
You can get sites with cabanas complete with out door kitchens.
The only draw back for us is its mostly French Canadians so some language barrier with our neighbors.

We left Naples Motorcoach Resort because they changed their rentals to a maximum of 3 weeks only and raised prices as high as $150 a night with no monthly rate. It's getting rough in south Florida. Aztec IS a great place but if you don't speak some French, you might feel a little out of place there.

The French speakers (many less than friendly) Have made my Winters in Arizona very enjoyable. We don't have any!!!!
We have Canadians but from the Western provinces. Way more friendly.

Not an RV owner, but my brother in law is, of a 36'. Just came back of a 3,100 miles trip from Orlando to Wisconsin and down back in a different way to our home town"Orlando". I own a Pop up 24''and have done Plenty of Camping thru all Florida. Now going back to the subject: A) Jetty Park, Cape Cañaveral, cocoa Bch. B) Long Point Campground, Sebastian inlet, Melbourne Fla. This are the most impressive for me. Most on Location, customer service, Campground set up, Cleanness, accommodations, paved lots, beach, Privately gate, and Security +++ , Quiet. I hope you Ck. It out. 100% recommend for RV, Tents, or any other Accomodatiion. Even little Cabanas in Jetty Park, next to NASA. Space Shuttle. Att. #CaribbeanCamper [emoji41] Enjoy Florida
