Our son is being transferred to San antonio and we are planning a visit in mid December. He is staying in North San Antonio. We have a 37 ft MH. We prefer to stay in State/County/Corp parks. I know there is a corp park about 35 miles NE, any one have suggestions. We'll be staying there for about a week. s/Toby

I can not make a recommendation based on your preference. However, I have stayed (several weeks) at the San Antonio KOA, page 1401 of the 2006 Trailer Life Directory. The park is neat, clean and quiet. The sites are pull through 50 amp full hookups. There are sites with trees and no trees. There is a pool. The CG is in the North East area, mentioned in your OP. The CG is convenient to I10, I 410 and I35. I would stay there again. I was last there in April of 2006.

Don't know of any COE parks on the N side of SA but you might take a look and Greentree RV Park(nothing special but on the the N side)also there is Stone Creek Park a litte North of SA(might be quieter). Any way you go, I hope you enjoy your stay.
