Wayne,

Navy dress blues pressed and ready to go, complete with white hat.

I only have 4 credit cards with hope you can eat on that.

Got in tonight and set up. Nice place and they have a par 3 course next door. Nice recommendation.

I nee to re-level tomorrow when running the engine wont disturb the neighbors. Front wheels must be 8" off the ground. I get to the bottom step and hump off. Just glad to be off the road and set up for the night.

Your post is 02:06 a.m., is that Alaska Time?

You do know it is dark here at that hour, right? I don't blame you for running the engine at 0200, you may have wakened up to a throng of Winter Texans wanting to have a word with you.

Holler when you are ready. Glad you like the place. Yeah! I forgot to mention the par 3 golf course that is part of Green Caye.

Shoot me the address of your meetings and I'll give you an idea of a travel route.

Marina Bay is close to Galveston (20 minutes) and the board walk in Kehmeh (lots of eating places). If you stay there, try OPUS, it's across the street and a lot of locals dine there and is chef owned. The only downside to Marina Bay is the pads are very close together, literally you can't put your awing out if your neighbor has their slide out.

Lakeview is spread out and has nice size pads and I feel more "big rig" friendly. They located just south of Reliant Stadium and there is good access to Freeways, 610 and the Beltway (toll road).

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip.
Ate out on the Boardwalk 3 nights. Very nice area. Thanks for the tip.

We did make it to dinner Friday evening after spending a couple hours at Wayne"s house.

I had a very nice evening chatting with Wayne, his wife, Wayne's cousin and his wife. Real friendly people, made feel right at home

When the checks came I didn't get one my dinner ended up on Wayne's tab and he wouldn't let me pay. Hopefully he will let me buy on my next trips to town.

After dinner we went back to Wayne's house for coffee and homemade apple pie with ice cream.

Playing golf tomorrow with Wayne's cousin Gary.

Sure is nice to meet good people when you are on the road.

I think the free dinner is going to cost me a bit though, Earlene (Wayne's wife) has the really nice Keurig coffee pot. I may need to upgrade mine. She also keyed me in n buying the Kcups in the big box (60 count) makes them about half price.

Ah! The pleasure was truly ours. It was very nice meeting you and chatting with you throughout the evening. You did seem to enjoy your Mexican meal.

Paying for a cheap meal like that is a ploy. Earlene summed it up with one word when you stated the next time will be on you. She said, "Lobster."

You are welcome to drop in anytime you are in the area.

Semper Fi!

Hope you made it to "T Bone Tom's" in Kemah. Great steaks, burgers and everything else at reasonable prices.
