Charlseton Marina RV Park, Oregon
Shout out to Victoria and the folks at Charleston RV Park near/in Coos Bay, OR. CLEAN latrines/showers...ALL THE TIME. Security during the day and drive around at night. Good location near the docks (crabbing, muscles, bay/deep sea charters for fishing/crabbing) and some pretty righteous restaurants. Pull throughs are all slightly crowned, so no standing water around or underneath your rig, and the city water source is NOT hard water at all. We still used the Campco inline hose filter for all of it, but didn't really NEED to.
I had lived in Coos Bay over 44 years ago, never went back. My wife & kids had never been. This was a great place to set chocks, then sightsee and do the crabbing thing (I never realized how much I missed it).
Anyone coming through on hwy 101 finds themselves in need of a unique and fully engaging rest stop...here it is!
