Chassahowitzka River Campground?

Has any one been to Chassa... in Florida recently? If so how would you rate it? Is it suitable for a 40'+ MH?

TIA

Larry

If you are talking about the one near Crystal River it is peaceful but few aminities. You will be the big dog as far as size but there are a couple sites you will fit.

If you are asking about the one in EVERGLADES City, Fl you can get a 40 ft in. it may be a wee bit tight, but it is doable. We've been there several times but hav e NOT stayed there. good luck....ed

Chokoloskee, near present-day Everglades City and Chassahowitzka River Campground8600 W Miss Maggie DriveChassahowitzka, Fl 34448 are two different places ; about 200 miles apart. One is close to naples and one close to crystal river. Both are tough in the summer but winter would be fine.

I drove there by car when I was looking for possible camp grounds in the area. It was on my ok list. In my opinion a little tight for a 40+ MH. I believe it is a county park. Check the rv park reviews below.
