YEARS ago stayed on top lookout mountain overlooking the city....
wife and 2 little ones stayed in one room cabin to break up the 2 week small rv trip

of course wife locked BOTH sets of keys inside the rv and had to call a locksmith up the mountain from the city....
expected $200 charge - he got it opened and another key for $35 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but LM has some great views !

and QUITE a drive up the mountain from the city - my little Winny LeSharo's 4 cyl engine DID some work

It was a wonderful experience! We did the Ruby Falls, Rock City, Lookout Mountain, and the worlds steepest incline railway! Met up with friends I have not seen in 15 years! Wonderful trip ...

don't miss the aquarium. It is a model of the tenn. river and not just a bunch of tanks with fish. We and our grandkids loved it. You will also be close to the civil war battlefield.

We like Chattanooga. We stayed a night at Raccoon Mountain on the way to Tremont. The sites were close but the cave was cool.

Raccoon mountain is where we stayed also ... It was close to all the attractions that we wanted to see!
