Cherokee NC campground closest to casino

Just heading to the Casino in Cherokee NC and wondered who has stayed there and what campground is close to the casino. Can we stay the nite in the parking lot of the Casino? Thank you..Carol in NC

Hi carolnemo,

I've stayed at the KOA in Cherokee. It is a couple of miles from the casino. Contact info is:

I have seen coaches parked in the casino lot. However, that was during the day. I do not know about staying over night.

We have stayed at the KOA many times, it's a nice one right on the river, two pools, two hot tubs. but it's on the other side of town from the casino.
