Chicago south to Louisiana
OK guys here we go.... the wife and I are going to be working in Louisville and Chicago in late July. We will work on Monday and Tuesday at each stop with 5 days travel time between each. Then after Chicago, we have two weeks to mosey back down to Louisiana. I have some plans to play with my slot cars in Louisville, Indianapolis and Chicago while traveling, but nothing else really on the schedule.
Sometime along the way, I would like to visit the Cahokia Mounds right outside of St Louis, but figure it is only a short stop. Other than the Cahokia Mounds, there is nothing I can think of on my bucket list in this direction.
So... if you were making this trip, what would you not miss?
