Hi all,

We are looking for a CG for just an overnight stay in the Chiloquin,OR area. Does anyone have info on Walt's Cozy Camp or Melitas Hwy.97 RV Park or other CG in the area? We don't need anything fancy, just safe and clean.

Thanks,
Paul & Linda

carry bottled water for that area. we ran into some sulphur water last time we stayed in that area. our 3 filters took out the smell for 2 days but eventually we had to use bottled water.

Oregon State Parks are tough to beat, especially since you are only looking for an overnight stop. Collier Memorial St. Park is just north of Chiloquin, has 50 spaces w/full hookups, 9 are pull-thrus. Electric is only 20 amp. It is 8 miles north of the junction of US-97 and SR-62.

Tommy,

Thanks for the heads-up. We always use bottled water for drinking and cooking. Since it is just an overnight stop, well use the onboard water tank for bathing, etc. We just won't hook-up the hose.
