Just got back to NJ after staying at Twin Lakes Camp ground in NC. I was pleasantly surprised after getting there and getting 120+ volts at the post. Nice place, even toured the park models for sale. Left just before the big winds hit. Downside...very suspicious of all the homes built on stilts there, seems like a flood area. I'll go back for sure.

Well it does set on the Pamlico River. They do get occasional flooding. When large storm systems come through the ocean and sound waters get pushed inland, and the river typically rises 4 to 6 feet. Hurricane Floyd a few years gone now, completely inundated the "flatlands" around here, but that was one of those 100 year storms. Major, "lose your possesions" flooding in this area is not typical, but minor "inconvienience" flooding is normal.
