Christmas camping in south

Hi, looking for a few places to camp for Christmas.
All our kids are grown and so are our grandkids which leaves us open to do Christmas.
We live in jax fl. and don't like mountains in the winter so are some what limited. really like ocean front camping but not necessary in December.
any places that will have a Christmas atmosphere?

Steve - done that many times...
Worked in the oil patch area, but in banking, in Laugh-a-yet La.

To the OP, what area's are you interested in ?

As old Scout said, any small town in TexUS where the nativity is still ok like here in Jefferson, Tx is nice - they do the whole town up...

Look up the Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park, Live Oak, Fl. @ musicliveshere.com
Light trail cost a few $ per trip, but campground general store decorated like a Christmas village.

We've stayed at Gulf State Park, Gulf Shores, Alabama (big sites, full hookups, no time limit during winter, close to beautiful beach, good restaurants/shopping) which is festive in itself. However, you can take your car on the short ferry ride from nearby Fort Morgan to Dauphin Island and drive a few miles north to Bellingrath Gardens south of Mobile, AL for their awesome decorated Christmas.

Charleston SC really does it up at James Island Park. Great campground - wonderful Christmas lights and programs.

Best RV Park Deal on the Gulf Coast - Wales West RV Park & Light Railway - Home of the Great Train Robbery, the Pumpkin Patch Express, the Arctic Express and the Cottontail Express - rv parks gulf shores, rv parks orange beach, rv parks gulf coast, r is a really neat campground with an old style arcade feeling if that is something that interests you. They have small scale working coal/steam locomotives, really dress up the place for Christmas, do a Polar Express Train, even if you're not a kid, or don't have kids, it's a cool place to go. It is in Silverhill, Alabama, just across the border from Florida. Check it out!

We are partial to the Pine Mountain GA area..... Callaway Gardens has a spectacular light show each Christmas and all of the little towns around the area really get into the spirit of the season.... a perfect place to spend the season. Roosevelt State Park is very nice and convenient to everything.
