Chula Vista RV Resort, California

Here's an update on Chula Vista RV Resort.

I arrived at Chula Vista RV park on July 1st and will go home on Sept. 29th.

As in the past under former ownership, I've work at the RV park during the summer.

This year under new ownership (Sun Communities) I'm now a part time employee for my entire stay.

I'm involved in Activities and fill in doing Ranger work (Sun Communities calls Security positions "Ranger") So far things have been great and the company is absolutely the best. They truly are professional and the hiring process is intense. This is a good thing as the park is geared towards Customer relations.

Hopefully (all depending on construction of the Hotel/Convention center project) this RV park will be here until the end of Sept. 2020. Supposedly construction of the new park which will be located at E st and Bay Blvd. will begin next month (August 2019)

If you have any questions about the park, feel free to send me a PM

I thought CV RV Park closed down and was going to move to a new location? I could be wrong. I did hear that they were building a new Hotel/Convention Center at the old location.

Hi, just thought I'd let you know the RV Resort is going well. This is my 8th week of working as a Seasonal Employee doing mostly Activities and Ranger duty..

I'm done on Sept. 29th and will return next year a month earlier than normal (Will return on June 1st.)

We've had a bunch of activities for adults and kids and so far everyone seems to enjoy the activities and the RV Resort. The Liquor license has been approved is now posted for the required 30 days and unfortunately the 30 days ends a week after Labor Day.

The new resort will be about 1 mile north of here on E st. and groundbreaking is scheduled for the middle of September 2019.

The resort is taking reservations for next summer and is only taking them until Sept 15th 2020. Not sure what will happen after the 16th but I suspect we'll still be right here until the new Resort is built. (expected completion is between 18 and 20 months. but all that depends on the weather. If San Diego has rain like it did last year, then obviously construction will take longer.

So, if you're planning on coming to the park, make your reservations on line or call 619 422-0111
