Has anyone been to this park? We are going to be visiting the area at the end of June and will be staying at Chula Vista before heading into Arizona.

We were there in September 07. We really liked the park and especially the location. It is located next to a Marina and Yacht Harbor and also a City Park. There are 2 very nice restaurants within walking distance.

The only downside is you must have a toad if you want to leave the area. It is quite a ways away from any public transportation or shopping.

Sounds great this will be our first trip to San Diego. We do have a toad, Jeep Liberty ,so getting around should not be a problem.

What would you say is on the list as must see while we are there?

The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park (could spend 2 or 3 days there alone), the USS Midway, Coronado Island. The Trolley ride is also a good way to see a lot of the City. Probably a lot more to see depending on your tastes.
