Color change in New England

We are presently near Buffalo, NY and are heading east. Will probably camp in the Adirondacks in the next few days and then continue into Vermont. Anyone in Vermont care to comment on how things are looking now and a recommendation of where to go? Also, how about Mass?

Thanks. We just pulled into a campground on Lake Dunmore. We were in the Adirondacks yesterday and the colors are starting there; higher and more north was better. Rain today. See what tomorrow brings.

You must be talking about Lake Dunmore Kamperville...We usually stay there every 3rd year in August. If it wasn't for my son in school I would be there now. ? for ya...For a site there now how far ahead of time did you have to make a reservation? We like sites 23, 24 ,28 ,29.....

We did not make a reservation. We came in Sunday afternoon and there are a lot of empty sites. Funny, we are in site 24. Think we will be heading to New Hampshire on Thur.
