Man is it cold. Lots of parks close in the winter but you will find one. I hope you have something that heats the tanks.

Do you have chains for your coach? Depending on your route from the east coast to Denver you may actually have to chain up to keep going!

I-70 at Burlington may close due to snow, either way be extremely careful as the black ice across Kansas and Eastern Colorado is bad enough in a car,

the MH on black ice is more than a white knuckler!

Been there done that,

we now live in NE Kansas and all our family lives from Colorado springs to Steamboat, cut my teeth driving in the Rockies and still don't enjoy driving our 34 ft PA in the snow.

Hello:
Don't be too discouraged about the weather. Some of us will be still be driving in Dec and we watch the weather and don't drive if it is too bad. Our roads are almost always open and if closed normally clear in a day or two. A park close to CS is a KOA just south and there are several others in the area. Yes it can be cold and certainly will at night so be prepared. Come on it is nice in CO in the winter and you will not even be in the mountains.

Garden of the Gods has more ambiance than the KOA but I'm not sure if they are open...We have more than 300 days of sunshine a year so most days a gorgeous and snow melts quickly in the front range. Garden of the Gods | Colorado Springs, Colorado RV Park and campgrounds
