We plan on spending June & July in Colorado. Have made reservations at the following and would appreciate any input or info about them or the surrounding area. We carry a two man kayak on our toad and love to fish small, wakeless ponds. In order: Lathrop State park, Walsenburg.--Wolf Creek Run, Pagosa Springs.--Mountain Views,Creede--Castle Lakes, Lake City.
Thanks

I am not fimiliar with the camp grounds, but the area is real nice we stayed in Lake City a couple of days and if you have a 4x4 toad you can do the alpine loop which is up and over the mountains and back. This is a real nice trip and a lot of nice scenery. I am sure you will enjoy the area.

Lathrop State Park is a nice place to spend a few days. Plenty of space between parking areas, a couple of small lakes, and an adjacent golf course.
Enjoy Colorado.

We have 35 acres about 2 miles from Lathrop, nice area, will be getting warm then. It is a nice state park, I think it is our first state park.

We are going to Castle Lakes for the first time later this summer, every review I have read about it is great.
