Colorado to Florida Suggestions

I'm picking up an RV in Colorado Springs & heading south on I25 to I10 east. Planned stops in Albuquerque, Tucson, San Antonio, Houston, New Orleans, Gulf Port, Pensacola, Melbourne Fl.
I'm planning to play some golf, sightsee & a little gambling. Any suggestions on where to stop & area's to avoid. This is my 1st experience in an RV (28' Tiffin Breeze).
Thanks for any suggestions

We go to the Springs every year from Melbourne area. If you go thru Dumas, Tx, stop by Alberts Diner for breakfast...one of our favorites when we travel! Awesome biscuits and gravy. Going thru Raton Pass this year, we saw a bear just walking thru the trees...I've never seen a bear in the wild, only in zoos, so checked that off my bucket list. We had planned on staying in South Fork,Co for 2 weeks, but unfortunately, they were evacuated due to fire...suppose to be an wonderful area and will try to go again next year.
Are you retired military by chance? If so, we can give you some places to stay along the way.
Safe travels and have a great time and enjoy your new "cabin on wheels".
BTW...our zip...32937

Dumas Tx is a little out of the way. Looking for interesting places along I10.
I didn't see much on I10 from El Paso to San Antonio but you can never tell.
It's suppose to be a high of 37 Tuesday when I land. I'm glad I will be heading south.

Check out Hollywood Casino and Rv Park, Bay St. Louis , MS. The rv park is clean and you can walk to casino or the shuttle will pick you up. Gulf Haven Rv Park in Gulfport is ok but my favorite is Cajun Rv Park Biloxi ,Ms. Safe travels and welcome to Mississippi !!!!
