Columbus Day

Our annual and traditional Columbus Day trip to WDW and Fort Wilderness starts tomorrow evening. We have been going for over 40 years.

Have seen lots of changes over the years, can't wait to see what's new this year

As seen on television; handicap access pass's are completely different, as well as the way they are administered. WDW recognized the wide-spread mis-use and fraud, even to the point of finding them for sale on Craig's list and ebay.

WDW over crowded

We encountered the largest crowd I have ever seen at WDW this Columbus Day weekend.

Fast passes were sold out on some rides, others were scheduled for very late in the evening

So much for a slow economy, where's all the money coming from

We were there three years ago.

Have they improved the WiFi piece of junk they rent to you?

They have WIFI at the 3 out post, not at our site though.

It must not be fully implemented yet, we didn't notice any change from last year. The new buses now have 4 handicap positions

We have noticed an increase in wheel chairs and scooters in the past few years though.

I almost felt like renting a scooter since my legs aren't as good as they used to be

Strollers and scooters never bothered me before but we are at Disneyland now and as you mentioned there are a TON of them.

Have been run into a couple times.

I love those monster double wide ones in the shops.
