We have stayed at the KOA on South Padre and it was great...nice view of the bay and lots of nice people....kinda pricey but all places on the Island ...most of the other places a grosse... We live in Rockport which is 45 miles north of Corpus Christi and we have over 100 RV Parks here and many that are really nice....I don't know any in Corpus....and Staying on Mustang Island would be nice and close to Corpus...try the Pioneer
Good Luck and Happy Camping!!! feel free to ask more questions

We just left Corpus. If you are into Public parks, then you may be interested in staying at the National Seashore or maybe Mustang Island State Park which is a bit closer to civilization. Also there is two Nueces County parks Padre Balli and IB Magee Beach Park. All these parks are located near Corpus. The KOA is on the far south end of the Island towards Brownsville. For short stays (less than a month) we like public campgrounds.

We stayed at Sea Breeze just across the bridge from C.C. in Portland, TX. Was a very nice park and right on the water. Easy in and out of Corpus.
