COTA in April

Anyone planning to go to Moto GP at COTA in April? Some of the best motorcycle racing I have seen. Been every year since it started at COTA, great track.

We plan on going. Been there the last 2 races. I've been signing up for RV camping in the Parking Lot N but last year they upgraded me to the VIP RV lot along the straight. Very nice but expensive if paying for it. Will be in Parking Lot N again this year.

I've been there for two Formula 1 races, as well as driven the track numerous times. The first F1 race we stayed in a hotel; we brought the RV last time and stayed in the COTA dry camping lot. Weather was great and it was much cheaper and more convenient to stay on site.

I'm thinking about the Moto GP race but I'm not really into motorcycles. But I'm in Houston, so it would be a pretty easy trip and I'm sure it would be a good time.

Never been to the Formula races but watching motorcycles handlebar to handlebar at 200 mph is quite the thrill.

April.... hmmm... have to see if the IRS left me any money

We went to the first IRL race at Texas Motor Speedway as guest of MBNA bank... just an oval race, but we were in a suite above the front straight and wined and dined VERY well...

Left the suite to go down to the lower levels and MY GOODNESS !!!! Whenever the cars went by us the sound was actually physical Shook you like an earthquake but from the inside !!!
