Crowsnest Mountain

Just got setup today for the first time this season at our favorite spot. Usually get out earlier but this year just seemed a little tougher with weather and schedules.

Weather was great today and I am really enjoying myself. Got away from the family for a quick solo ride. Great to have the wind in my hair again.

Raining now and the forecast is a little spotty for the weekend but it changes fast around here and you never know if your going to get snowed on or sunburnt tomorrow. ( I have had both happen on previous years )

Good luck to all others out camping especially us Canadians who are enjoying our Victoria Day long weekend

I envy you. That is beautiful country. And awesome Trout Fishing. Have a great weekend.

P/S, are you camped near the Castle River south of Beaver Mines?

No, I was just north of Colman at the base of Crowsnest Mountain but the Castle area is also one of my favorites and I intend to make a few trips out there this season.
