Dallas Fort Worth RV Parks

Planning a visit to DFW area to catch the Nascar race Nov 6, 2016. Also want to do some touring around week prior. May stay at the track race weekend, but would appreciate recommendations for a good quality RV Park suitable for Class A.

I agree. The Vineyards is one of the best RV parks we have stayed so far. The city of Grapevine also has it's charm. Better check their site. They have suffered some severe flooding the last two years.

Another vote for the Vineyards. Hope they have it cleaned up and fully operational.

Check out Bluebonnet Ridge RV. It's east of DFW in Terrell, right off I20. The Class A MHs can pull in to some spots around their catch and release ponds. Disadvantage is that its on the opposite side of DFW from Texas Motor Speedway.

I know I'm late to the discussion.....

If you want to stay close yo the track, North Lake Village is an okay place.

X3 on Vineyards, and last time I drove by they were operating.

Treetops in Arlington is another good spot in the metro area that is not too far from the track.

Not sure if would want spend money but another option is like I do. Buy a rv site in the VIP rv section at the track. You can arrive on the Sunday prior and stay for the whole week. You have electric and water but no sewer, although the honey truck is available

If you are willing to dry camp, renting an infield space is also good. That is what we do. You can stay from Wed to Mon. Water trucks are available as well as the honey wagon.

Dallas Fort Worth RV Parks

We are currently staying at The Vineyards and all is good. Only one cabin not in service. Right now plenty of the sites open, but that does not mean they will be.

Excellent place.
