We're planning a trip out east from Minnesota to DC, Virginia & Maryland September, 2006. Does anyone have experience and recommendations for RV parks that are in reasonable proximity to the trains. We'd rather not drive into the city and found the trains really convenient when we were there several years ago but at that time didn't have our TT.
Prefer private parks.

I have camped here http://www.woodalls.com/a/01544_princewilliam.html
It is about 30 miles south just off of I-95. I understand it is easy to get to the train station to ride into DC. This park is reasoniably priced and clean with all paved sites. They do not have a lot of frills, just a good value. There is Cherry Hill Park
http://www.cherryhillpark.com/
which is susposed to be very nice and has a suttle to get you into DC. I understand that it is cost a little more than Prince William Travel Trailer Village, we have not stayed there but do have some friends that have

Bill.

I've stayed at Cherry Hill. Nice CG. They run a shuttle to the closest Metro station so it is very easy to get downtown
