Decatur, IN to Williston (Gainesville), Florida

We will be driving from Decatur, Indiana to Williston, (near Gainesville) Florida, picking up I75. We want to break the trip in half and we're looking for a campground that's about halfway. It would be south of Knoxville, but before we get to Atlanta. Any suggestions of a decent campground for the night?

Both of these parks have worked for us. We are in SE Michigan and have stayed in Williston on our second night on the road.

Harvest Moon RV Park
– (Holiday Trav-L Park)

Harvest Moon is less cramped but depending on how the day goes, the Chattanooga camp gets chosen. They keep the water on all winter so that can be a deciding factor for us as well. Usually, we need to dewinterize on our way south. Not a factor for you if you are heading down shortly.

Looks like we will be pulling out Thursday. I looked at Harvest Moon and it's perfect. Thank you!

I see you are in Decatur. We are planning a trip next summer to tour the American Coach facility. We have a '06 Revolution. Anything we should know in advance... things to take advantage of while we are there? Tour times... place to stay overnight... etc. Thanks in advance!!

Harvest Moon RV park is very clean and neat, with large pull-throughs. My GPS had me turn at the stoplight after getting off I75 ---WRONG! Watch for the waffle house, the turn is directly in front of the Waffle house. RV park is at top of the rise, on right, after the turn. If you need a blue W/clear housing whole house water filter, tell the desk to give you mine. I was not going to drive back there from Perry, GA to retrieve a $35 item.
That's what I get for leaving before sunrise.
