Denali Area

I'll be in the Denali area around the1st of July, and reading looking and searching for a good campground for a 36 RV and toad, I've read all kinds of mixed reviews.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, prefer full hookups, but I know I might need to give that up for a good location.

Why not stay in Denali itself. You'd fit easily in Riley Creek campground? No hookups but water fill and dump station. You'd get at least better scenery than the RV parks outside of Denali. They're row after row of sites.

I can't provide a recommendation but can recommend that you not stay at Denali Grizzly Bear. It is located 6 miles south of the park entrance. We stayed there in July 2010 and our comments along with several others are documented in RV Park Reviews.
