If you are talking about "Destin On The Beach", I stayed there back in '09 and loved it. If you have reservations, you can park your RV, right on the beach, although there are no sewer hookups and pets are not allowed there. However, you can stay a couple of rows back with full hookups and pets are OK. They have a swimming pool, game or recration room, store, etc. I would definately stay there again, when I am in the area.

We stayed at Geronimo Rv Park. It was a nice place, concrete pads etc. Price was reasonable as I recall. Park is fairly new, hook-ups all on a post towards the rear. The beach in about a half mile away. Lots to do in this area.

We have not stayed there. They are a bit on the pricey side but get excellent reviews on RV Park Reviews. They don't appear to be any more expensive than Camping on the Gulf which after a drive through we didn't particularly care for. Please let us know how you like the park.

Topsail is a lot nicer. The lots are private, large and nice. They have a tram to the beach. Camping on the Gulf is not our favorite. The rest rooms are old and they just do not feel clean. The park just does not have a great look or feel to us. It's just not our taste.

Just east of Destin is the Grayton Beach state park. The facilities are excellent. The older section is close but private with bushes between the sites. Water and Electric services. The new section is open with full services, elec, water, sewer. The beach is wonderful. The price is reasonable. The surrounding communities have good shopping (Publix), and good resturants. The Donut Hole is a winner for breakfast. Enjoy Florida.

Grayton is very nice and the Donut Hole is great. I live here so I go a lot to the hole to eat.

Topsail is 6 miles East of Destin and very nice. It is on a sugar white beach of the Gulf of Mexico about a 3 minute tram ride from your RV. But park is very busy and hard to get reservations.

Grayton Beach State Park
The beach is about a quater mile from the camp ground. Nice bike ride or take the toad with all the beach gear. There is ample parking by the beach bathhouse.
Grayton Beach has been cited as one the the most beautiful beaches in the world. (look it up on Google). Just one of the wonderful parks that the state of Florida has saved for future generations. See Florida State Parks-the real Florida. I am fan, have worked in the parks to help maintain and pass on to future generations to enjoy. A nice day trip from Grayton Beach is the Eden Gardens State Park which gives a picture of the past in coastal Florida.
Enjoy.

Been to both and Topsail wins hands down...not as crowded and better, larger sites...
