Destin West RV Resort Review!!

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to take a minute to give a review on the Destin West RV Resort in Fort Walton (Destin Area) Florida.
This resort is fairly new and is in a great location! It is on the bay side of the street with the Gulf directly across the street at the Ramada Hotel.
This resort is owned by the man that owns the Ramada so you have all the amenities of the Ramada at your fingertips as well.
The spaces are full brick paver with a 20' x 10' patio as part of your full and very long RV spot. All brick paver with a concrete border! It has a very nice patio table and benches on your patio.
The staff is very nice and helpful!!
The laundry and shower facility is beautiful but, could use a couple more wahers and dryers.
They do have a couple of Shower facilities that are very nice!
The onsite pool is beautiful and on the water and heated very warm even for the winter weather.
I give this resort a 9.9 out of 10!

But you didn't say... how many pigs, goats or sacks of grain did it cost you to stay?

Nice place up there. $675 per month, not bad for Destin area.

We live just down the road. The resort is brand new and beautiful! Even has a walk over busy hwy 98 to the Ramada. For the money a great deal!! IMO.

I live across the water from Destin west and see it has become quite popular since its opening. It is very nice, and less than 1/3 price of staying in the Keys, were I am headed. I now wonder why I left home, as I lived in the area on the water for 40 years. Maybe to get a little warmer?? Now you have Fudpuckers opening next door with some good food.

This place looks amazing. Thanks for posting. Last time we stayed in destin we stayed in military rv park & while it was nice it was waaaay too tight for comfort. Will shoot for this place next time we are in that area. Thanks again.

Looked so good...had two weeks to fill somewhere in Feb in the FL panhandle...called them up...booked solid for the month.

Looks like a great location; when the trees fill in this is going to be a good one. Unfortunately, if it books full now and with no room to expand, may be hard to get into without well in advance reservations

We spent a week at Destin West RV Resort back in August 2012, really nice campground for the price and location.

Cheer up! We have visited this new park and believe me it is great! Destin is really a summer resort, so we are surprised it filled up so fast. But once the word gets out the rates go up in the summer.
