Betty and I will be there from the 12th through the 15th of November. I haven't been to Disneyworld since 1977 and Betty has never been there so we will be two "older" kids having a ball.We just saw a rating where Ft. Wilderness is one of the top rated parks in the nation.
Have a good and safe trip down and we will have the rides all warmed up for you.

Your co-owner is in the Jupiter,FL area and would love to see anyone who happens in the area...There is a very nice Juno Beach campground and a rather nice State Park where you could stay a few nights...
I'll buy dinner for any takers....
I'll have Adrienne for Christmas break and all summer....might have to do FW this year.

For those going to FW, this may help the driver enjoy the CG. About 10 days before your arrival, call FW directly. Tell them you need an easy back in site. Get the name of the person you are talking to and their commitment an easy backin site will be provided.
FW is an old CG. There have been many upgrades, but the road width is not one of them. Getting a 40' coach into and out of some of their sites is an adventure. Because of how the loop roads curve through the loops and the angle of the sites to the loop road, some sites are much easier to back into than others.
In addition, DW and FW do not seem to enforce the one vehicle per site rule or where people park their vehicles and golf carts. This can make entering and exiting a site quite challenging. Unfortunately, folks may not be at thier site to be able to move their offending vehicles. And when families leave their site, at DW, they usually leave for a long time.
Once you are registered and go a few hundred yards down the main road there is an alcove where you can unhook your towed vehicle.

Gary:
Thanks for the helpful tip. I figured all were back in sites. Will call them before we head out.

For the seasoned Fort Wilderness camper you will find many recent changes are in effect.
WDW no longer allows direct contact with the front desk untill you are checked-in.
Every request must go through Central Reservations.
