Dolores River in Colorado???

Does anyone know of campgrounds along the Dolores river in western Colorado? We need something for a 34 foot motorhome, with or without electric or water

There is a nice little CG in Delores Co. We stayed there years ago and backed right up to the river. At the time we were in a 34ft DP with no problem, very quiet. Can't remember the name, sorry.

It's a beautiful area - you'll enjoy!

Camping at Dolores River RV Park and Cabins, Campground in Southwest Colorado

We've been told that there are some RV sites at Dunton Hot Springs, just outside of Dolores at a "luxury resort". Can't verify that, but here's their web site:

Colorado Resorts :: World Class Luxury Cabins :: Dunton Hot Springs

Enjoy your stay in south west CO!

Dolores River RV Park & Cabins is a great place. Just 13 miles from Cortez, but a whole other world. Right along the Dolores River, with their own private access.

Just drove through the Dolores River RV Park a few days ago - beautiful place. Looks like most of the sites by the river are taken - on a semi-permanent basis. Don't blame them!

Talking

Last year we stayed at Priest Gulch campground. The river runs right thru the park. It's quite a ways out of town and no Verizon cell there but it was truly beautiful.
