We stayed one month, never again. Owners can't make up their mind if they want drunks or Winter Texans. In one week they kicked out a unit for DUI reckless driving, the unit across from us drank all night allowing their trash to blow all over our site, (reported drinking) couple locked themselves in there unit, injured and had to have rescue vehicle and police rescue them during the middle of the night. Barking dogs during the daytime. The last 5 days we were there they closed the rec. room, so only a small group could use it, everyone else had to sit in a cold garage to do their laundry where only half the dryers worked

Thanks for the heads-up. Sorry for your bad experience. Something like that can sure ruin your trip.

If you're ever back in Kerrville, try Kerrville-Schreiner Park. We stayed there last year and it was very peaceful. It is a former state park now operated by the city. I don't know, but since it is a city park, there may be a limit on how long you can stay. There are 2 camping areas - one down by the Guadalupe River where the office is located and the other across the road up on a hill. We stayed across the road - very quiet and lots of wildlife.
