East Coasters??? Advice maybe?
One of the first few trips we would like to make this spring it to Arlington National Cemetery, Could anyone offer and advise as to where perhaps we could camp for a couple nights?
I'll have the 29 foot travel trailer with us.

I have had friends that stayed there and really liked it. It is not cheap but is the best value anywhere close to the DC area. Public transportation is very close by and very good. DO NOT take your personal vehicle into the district, there is no place to park without a permit. YOU WILL GET TOWED for improper parking and it's $350 fine plus $200 towing.

Hi
We stayed at Cherry Hill Park this past Nov. The DC Metro line stops inside the campground. It is a little pricey, level roomy site, shower room is clean.Very conveniet to DC.

Place to Stay
I suggest Bull Run Regional Park in Manassas Va. Just off of I-66 about 25 miles west of Arlington Va and about 10 miles from the Metro subway system. We usually camp there once or twice a year.

Not sure when you're planning to visit, be we will be staying at Cherry Hill the first weekend of April to see the cherry blossoms. We chose the RV park from many reviews on this board and others.
