Eclipse - Thermopolis, Wy.

Was just wondering if anyone is in Thermop for the eclipse. We just left the Wyo. Dinosaur Center. They were really busy all day, and had a nice after business hours "get together"! Lot of folks in town for the event lunar event!

Technically, it's a solar event. The moon is involved, it's the object blocking our view of the sun, but it is called a solar eclipse.

It's sort of ironic, Grand Teton National Park is expecting their biggest crowds since the park opened. Problem is the eclipse will be in the eastern sky, the mountains are on the west side of Jackson Hole. Folks hoping to frame the eclipse with the spectacular Teton vista will have to have a wide angle lens to get both objects in the same photo.

I stand corrected! Shouldn't be trying to type when tired.
