Edison NJ area - where to stay?

Planning a trip for next spring for DW's 50th high school reunion. Not finding many options for a place to camp for a week to ten days or so in our 40' coach. Boondocking/dry camping ok.

Checked Woodalls, Allstays, Boondockers Welcome, etc.

Thx
Vince

We ran into the same problem when we visited our son who lives in Mount Laurel (South of where you want)... We were lucky and he lives in a fairly new apartment complex that was still under constrution...

We went to the Manager and asked if we could park over in the corner away from everyone and she said it would be OK as long as we got the Maintenance guys and the construction crew to OK it... Can't hurt to ask all they can say is NO....... Not sure if this helps..... Good Luck

Turkey Swamp Park is tight for a 40' mh. They have some sights that would work but are limited.

About a mile from Turkey Swamp is Pine Cone Resort. Resort is probably overstated but we like the CG. We have a seasonal site there that we use when not traveling and use for storage. They have both FHU sites and Elec/Water only. Sites are shaded (which we like). They have one section in front that is open catering to those that want satellite service.

Interior roads are dirt and a little tight but we get our 40' Phaeton into our site in the back with no trouble.

It is fairly convenient to main highways for your travel to Edison. PM me if you have questions or want more info.

Liberty Harbor RV Park in Jersey City is about the closest. Expensive though.
