Elk Meck State Park, Md. What's there to do there?

Heading to Elk Neck State Park this weekend. This is our first time visiting this part of Maryland. The park has very good reviews on RVParkreviews.com, but not much information of what there is to do in the area locally.

Recommendations on a beach, hiking, seafood restaurants, attractions, etc. are welcomed.

Visit the lighthouse at the end of the point, a nice walk. Also the town has lots of nice little shops and places to eat and drink.

Woodys Seafood that is if you like seafood! Right in town you will pass it on the right in North East, MD on your way to the campground. Lighthouse is a very nice view and only a short walk to get to it from the parking lot. They also have there own beach and hiking trails, Marina to. We kayak and fish there to.

Have a great time. We will be there in September.
