Does anyone have inside information, maybe even photos of Elkmont sites F6, H5, H6? Trying to pick a site.
Thanks

Camped there about 5 years ago. Great place. Most of the sites are great. If you can get one backing up to the 'crick', those are the prime spots.
Sorry I don't have specifics on the spots you listed.

Last year we stayed on sites D3 and D6 along the creek and loved both of them but this year we missed getting them. We marked F6 as a 4 (on scale 1 to 5) but can't remember why we did not give it a 5. We marked H5 as a 4 because the fire pit was behind the parking pad. We marked H6 as a 5 but don't really remember what the site looked like. I guess we have to learn to take better detailed notes.

Do you happen to remember the C Section... we have site C1 which is just 4 spots up from where you were at D3? However, there is also a couple sites available further down the row in the F section available and I wonder if they are better? I want to try and get the "best" spot available. Thanks!

Well I don't exactly remember C1 but I think it is angled with road for each entrance and you back up a little rise in height a foot or so if I remember the correct site. Either way my wife and I tend to rate sites incase we decide to return. C1 was rated 5 on our scale and 5 the highest mark on our scale so that means it must be a pretty good site. Others we had ranked F1=5, F5=5, F8=5, F6 has the table pad behind the rv pad so not really good if you want to use the tent/table pad.
Not sure what you are camping in but C1 should be a pretty nice site if my notes are correct.

Thank you for the site info. C1 is one of the longest riverside sites. We have a 2008 JayFlight G2 29FSB
Thanks again for the info. I appreciate it.
