Try Cajun Palms RV Resort in Henderson Louisiana, exit #115 on I-10 right east of Lafayette. Its brand new and a great place. Their web site is www.cajunpalms.com.

If you get up north in Michigan, try the Traverse Bay RV Resort just north of Traverse City. The sites are beautiful, the location perfect. It is just off the main N-S highway (31) and in the immediate vacinity of Traverse Bay Resort with three great golf courses (including Jack Nicklaus' The Bear), and only a mile from Turtle Creek Casino. Of course there is the entire Traverse City and Lelenau Peninsula to explore. Forgot to mention, their rate was the same as any local KOA with much nicer surroundings and amenities.
