Extended stay in the Portland, OR Area

Looking for a pretty nice place to visit our son for 30 days or more. Any info would be great.

Thanks in advance.

We like Mt Hood RV Village. Not a bad location if your son is in outer SE or Gresham. There is actually a bus system that will connect with Tri-Met, Portland's bus system.
There are also some places off I-5 South of PDX. Never stayed there but they look nice. You could also check some of the manufactured home parks since I know a number of them offer RV sites.
If you find something you think might work I can probably check out the neighborhood for you. We live in SE PDX, West of I-205.

When we go down to Portland, we have stayed in two parks that were pretty good with reasonable prices. On the south end of the metro area where the Clackamas River flows into the Willimette River is a Clackamas County Park (Clackamet) right on the Willimette River (Knock out views) and is only 20 bucks a night with water and 30amp power hook up. The downside is no sewer hookup, you need to either pick up and dump at a nearby dump station or have one of those Toter things. It is right off of I-205 at McLoughlan Blvd (State Hwy 99E). The other park which was surprisingly nice, clean, well laid out, quiet, and reasonable rates (discount for FMCA/Good Sam) was out at Hayden Island/Jantzen Beach, all hook ups available. It is almost on the Columbia River and west of the Interstate Bridge. The Pheasent Ridge RV Park south of Portland off of I-5 was very nice, but a Tad expensive, and your dog better weigh less than 25 pounds, and it was tight manuvering our 40 foot DP around it.
