Fall color secret sites in SE Ga

Anyone have any secret spots they go to for fall color around SW Ga? Somewhere where kids don't run the place, nice color and cool mountain air and sites that aren't on top of each other....thanks in advance for any tips.

Title says SE Georgia, then text says SW Georgia. Neither area has mountains Why don't you load up and head on up to N Georgia for a few days this Fall. Lot of neat 'leaf looking' areas. Going to be a few weeks yet, but they are getting ready to change.

Do a Google map search for Suches, Ga. Hiway 60 from Dahlonega to Suches then 180 over to US 129 near Vogel State Park. Colors will be stunning when they start changing. At 129 you can turn back south over Blood Mountain and then on down to Cleveland. From Cleveland go left to Helen but prepare to wait on traffic as you come into Helen. You can turn right down the Nacoochee Valley beside the Indian Mound and wind back around toward Clarkesville and Cornelia and avoid most of the traffic jams around Helen
